Whirlpool: A Company in "Disrepair" Trustworthiness, Reliability, Privacy, and Child Safety = ZERO Today we had a lovely experience of being told that our washing machine that was supposed to be fixed between 1 and 5pm and they never showed. No big deal please come in the morning. "Unfortunately the next available time is on the 29th" Wait, thats a week from now, we already paid for the service, today's the day, and they can't even come tomorrow, or the next day, or even the next day? We have to wait over a week to get our washer repaired? "Unfortunately, I'm sorry sir" Let us talk to management right now. "Sorry there are no managers present" Let us talk to corporate "This is corporate you will be routed back here" So there's literally no one except you to talk to at this company? Then he just repeated himself over and over like we'd settle for this blatant shady move. Whirlpool's position: "We need two technicians at once to make this particular repair; the soonest two technicians will be available is the 29th, 6 full days from now." Then as he's saying this is their schedule, he then reverses himself in the very next sentence when we ask to know their schedule "I don't know their schedule" Now they start with the lying. Do you know their schedule or not? If no, then why are you so certain they can only come A FULL WEEK FROM NOW? Like he knew exactly when their next available slot would be (instead of pushing everyone else back we're put in the back), but lies and says he doesn't know their schedule. Get your lies straight buddy. Customer support reps of a major American company LYING to their customer that already paid in full for the service! And we get pushed to the back of the line! Now, before everyone gets all heated and writes a blog post or something about this situation, let's keep in mind: A) WE PREPAID HUNDREDS MAYBE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THESE REPAIR GUYS TO COME: WE ARE AT THEIR MERCY BECAUSE WE ALREADY PAID AND WILL NOT GET A REIMBURSEMENT. SCUMBAG MOVE A. B) ITS UNDER WARRANTY EVEN MORE AT THEIR MERCY SO WE MUST USE THEIR REPAIR TECHS, SO WHEN THEY DON'T COME YOU ARE *******. SCUMBAG MOVE B C) WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE LAUNDROMAT SPENDING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WAITING FOR THE GUYS TO COME WITH WHIRLPOOL FLATLY STATING THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REIMBURSE THOSE LOSSES. SCUMBAG MOVE C D) THEIR SUPPORT SYSTEM IS SO FRAGMENTED OR AT THE VERY LEAST SO "HANDS OFF" THE TECHNICIANS, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON, IF YOUR WASHER BREAKS, THEY DONT HAVE THE TIME TO FIX IT THE DAY YOU SCHEDULE, YOU'RE NOT NEXT ON THE LIST, YOU'RE LAST ON THE LIST. SCUMBAG, DUMBASS, BAD BUSINESS MOVE D And instead of having a 21st century, johnny on the spot customer support system, you have whirlpool itself subcontract repairs out to a company in Texas handling the technicians around the country (their only job and they suck at it - early 20th century support system at best) who in turn subcontract the repairs themselves to small repairmen businesses or whoever on their payroll all over the country without a clue when or where they are, how they are doing, what they are doing, and when they sit around enough on previous jobs and can't fit the last repair of the day in laid back 10am-5pm repairman schedule, they don't come like honorable MEN/Businesses would do the next day, they schedule for weeks later!!! This isn't Halliburton, even though they are running it like it were, this is a washing machine company, you do one thing make and fix washing machines and this is how you operate your business? SCARY you've been around so long. This is all on whirlpool, they are ready with these responses, they are ready for these heated phone calls from house wives upset that they can't do laundry, then when you even mention "lawyer" they are ready with a premade message about how the phone call will now end. Point is, WHIRLPOOL IS THE MOST FRAGMENTED COMPANY WHEN IT COMES TO THE IMPORTANT STUFF LIKE FIXING YOUR BROKEN WASHING MACHINE THAT ITS LITERALLY IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO USE A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER. THIS IS PURE DIPSHITTERY AT ITS FINEST, ANY COMPANY WOULD MAKE RIGHT AND FIT YOU IN THE NEXT DAY. WHIRLPOOL IS SUCH A BROKEN COMPANY ON THIS END OF THINGS THAT IT PREFERS PEOPLE WRITING MESSAGES LIKE THIS ABOUT THEIR LACK OF SERVICE. I'D LOVE TO KNOW HOW THINGS GOT THIS WAY, BUT IM SURE ITS THE FACT THE COMPANY IS NOT DOING AS WELL AS THE USED TO, HIRING LESS, LESS QUALITY IN THOSE HIRINGS. I EVEN SAID I CAN MAKE A CRAIGSLIST POST AND 10 PEOPLE WOULD REPLY TONIGHT BEGGING TO FIX THE WASHER, BUT, ITS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY MAKE YOU PREPAY IN FULL: WHIRLPOOL SCREWED US EVERY WHICH WAY ON THIS. WASHING MACHINES AND THEIR REPAIR IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR A HOUSEHOLD, THEY KNOW THIS, WHICH IS WHY THE HAVE A LEGAL DEPARTMENT READY FOR CALLS WHERE THEY KNOW THEY ARE WRONG, THAT A LEGAL CASE COULD BE BREWING AGAINST THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE BECOME SUCH A CRAP COMPANY: THE WORLD QUALITY AND WHIRLPOOL ARE NOW OPPOSITES IN THIS HOME, AND EVERYONE WE TALK TO FROM THIS POINT ON. I GIVE YOU THE SCUM OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN SCUMBAGGERY IN BUSINESS: WHIRLPOOL. Avoid their products like the plague or pay the price, literally. The people at this company should take a spin in their own products and get the scum off themselves. Scummy scummy experience I don't care who knows it. Scum. NO GUARANTEES FROM THEM ARE HONORED EXCEPT YOUR MONEY BECOMES THEIRS, ONLY THING YOU CAN BE SURE OF IN ARRANGEMENTS WITH WHIRLPOOL, YOUR MONEY IS THEIRS AND ONCE THAT HAPPENS, YOU'RE AT THE BACK OF THE LINE. BE WARNED.
