The popups freeze my computer and then it crashes.

i just visited this site an immediately was attacked by malicious software. luckily my security system stopped the attack. i closed out and when i returned to try again, was immediately attacked by malicious software. why does this site have a "safe" rating???

Leads you to beleive that this is a free service. It is not. They say they can not find anything then send you to another site that wants to change you. very misleading. free is free.

They advertise "free reverse phone lookups" but try to charge when you input the number. Very unethical.

Unsatisfactory rating overall. The searches for information seem to be somewhat useful. BUT there are annoying ads and pop-ups if you stay on the site and browse for extended periods of time. Privacy is not very good either, because there are sponsors on the site that want to link you to some areas which WOT gives a poor reputation.
No way this site should be green. It's not bad enough to be red, but it should be yellow for caution. Be careful!

I asked if whitepages.com would remove my listing which they did but it moved their listing to the top of my search results. Bizarre!

watch out for all kids this is a bad site talk to your child because bad people can find children and hurt them

Ok for looking up phone numbers. Lots of ads, lots of other BS paid sites - pop ups, etc.

I've been using this website for phone searches and reverse lookups for years. No problems, no Malware, no PHISHing, etc. There are advertisements and popups, sometimes to some not-so-good sites, but that is fed via the ad agency that whitepages.com subscribes to. Also, whitepages.com info is not entirely free, it never was, you're given some very basic information but for more specific info... you must pay, as with most all other data aggregation services.
