WhoisGuard is a legitimate service used by multiple different domain registries to keep registrant information private. They have nothing to do with spammers, the other reviewers do not seem to understand how the internet works. All major domain registrars offer a privacy option these days, with many offering this for free. That means when you register a legitimate domain your personal home address, phone number etc. isn't publicly available like it would be without services like this as they are legally required to be included with the registration ot ICANN can revoke the domain. That some spammers take advantage of a legitimate service is completely irrelevant to how legitimate the service is. Down rating this is like down rating free webmail services like gmail because spammers happen to create accounts on them.

This 'club' allows spammers, phishers and virusmakers to send out their dangerous payloads without fear of being discovered. They know this, they do not do anything against it - nothing at all. I have reported spamsenders, virussenders and phishing sites for around 5 years now - and not ONCE, not ONE SINGLE time has 'whoisguard' done anything. It is my belief they are as guilty as the senders, for they enable these criminals to do their dirty work.
