Ist wizard101.com sicher?

I am quite perturbed by the fact that KingsIsle does not permit free players to use the Reporting feature in their Wizard101 game. This is extremely prejudiced towards those who cannot afford to pay their high fees, whereby subjecting free players to a position of complete helplessness towards those who wish to harm, offend, harass or prey upon them. By not permitting free players to have access to such a pivotal feature--especially in a MMORPG--they are allowing subscribers who DO pay to play to get away with breaking the rules. This is completely counterproductive towards the so-called family-friendly environment that KingsIsle boasts of with their Wizard101 game, as it promotes rule-breaking to the crudest degrees with no fear of negative consequences. As a free player myself, I have been the victim of many rule breakers who evade the chat filter (which is only too easily done with makeshift creativity) to swear at me, make obscene remarks, and at one point, one even attempted to engage in cybersex, ask where I lived and for my phone number. However, when I took screenshots of the incident (with an image of the user's profile and a link to their character via Ignore List) and sent it to KingsIsle Customer Support using the option to report a player, I was dismissed on the grounds that they cannot do anything about it because they are not omniscient and that only members could using the Reporting feature. I could not believe they had the gall to respond to me in that fashion, as it showed a completely lack of respect for my safety and dignity! Therefore, unless you are willing to open your wallet, I cannot with a clear conscience recommend any parent to permit their child to play in Wizard101, as it places their child at risk of low self-esteem through a feeling of helplessness; and at worst, may even victimize your child should an Internet predator find them.

This family game invokes the Surprise Difficulty trope: ***** If your child gets frustrated with Wizard101, don't say I didn't warn you. This game can threaten your children's self-esteem and break them just like many older games did to me and other kids back in the 80s and 90s. There are many complaints on the official forums about the unexpectedly high difficulty of the game. Even if you are a premium subscriber, the game is extremely difficult without buying items that can only be bought with premium currency, which can only be bought with real money. More recent micropayment-based games don't work that way, since they actually allow you to earn premium currency just by playing the game. Last but not least, unsubscribing is so hard that there are actually several guides on the Internet that teach you how to do it. There have been reported problems uninstalling the software, too.

This game also has 7 different classes you can chose from. Fire, Ice, Storm, Life, Myth, and Death. Each class can obtain the last level allowed in a week or so if you follow a guide.
