This radical neo religious cult was founded by Anton Szandor LaVey a.k.a. Howard Stanton Levey(His birth Name) in 1966 in California. Mr Lavey had later developed close ties to James Madole founder of the Neo Fascist National Renaissance Party and was investigated by the FBI in the 1980s regarding a plot to assassinated the now late senator Ted Kennedy. LaVeyan Satanism is basically Nietzscheism with a bit of Atheism and a heavy dose of Social Darwinism and Far Right Leaning Fascism. In his memoirs Mr LaVey admitted to having ties with Charles Manson a.k.a. Charles Maddox founder of the Mason Family cult. I would recommend never getting involved with radical/fringe organizations such as the Church of Satan. In summary this is a questionable website run by a suspicious fringe counter culture cult, I recommend that you do not visit this website!

100% safe website to visit. Satanism is based on an atheist belief, so although the church is called Satan, it has nothing to do with the christian's Satan. The views of the church of satan really are better than the holy bible. If I was forced to choose a religion, i'd choose church of satan.

I do not see anything hateful, unethical nor "evil"on this unlike some probably overly religous people here. All in all it seems to be more like a humorous take on religion, being one itself just for the sake of it but i still flagged it as ORP due to its contents. Nothing malicous or fishy on this site, not even a single tracker so i would say it's safe. About the entry fee or donation for lifetime membership which some people here brought up, it is optional and not activly advised by the site itself. Therefore it is not a scam and was falsely tagged by some other poster here, be it because of spite or hate doesn't matter. The site seems safe enough for children to visit but supervision is advised due to its nature of being a religion and dealings with certain subjects.

I read the basic rules. One is ''if somone is bothering you and you already said stop, destroy him'' Another is ''if somone annoys you when he is in your house, treat him without mercy'' This church is evil, although it does say not to do sexual advances unless given the mating signal, and no harming lil children but they are still illogical, cruel rules.
