The program is not a virus but it does contain adware in the form of a toolbar (or something like that) here is the virus total results for the wyzo browser setup file. This software is malicious and will install Adware.Zugo to your registry. Pay attention to the red warnings before installing this browser. It will change your default browser settings without permission and attempt to change your homepage settings. The people who are giving it the green flag are talking rubbish. Avoid it like the plague ... you have been warned.

I've just added RadicalSoft.com's Add-Ons to Mozilla Firefox: FireDownload 2.0 & FireTorrent 2.0. So far I've no problem. I DON'T think RadicalSoft is pushing Malware. Rather I think that the Wyzo App has faulty coding. They may write good Add-Ons for Firefox but probably not as good in coming out with their own browser. In my opinion RadicalSoft strategy was to write good Add-Ons for Firefox and then leverage on that to come up with Mozilla based Browser(s) & Add-Ons for themselves. The first part went well partly or mostly because Firefox & its users are savvy enough to evaluate any Add-On to Firefox. Looks like RadicalSoft could not keep up the standard when writing their own App. Please join me in giving constructive criticism. I hope they can fix their products and be as good or better than Firefox. Until they do I'm sticking with Firefox. Ok, first off, it isn't an evil browser that installs malware on your computer maybe it was listed on some site or another, but the download is clean. But frankly its useless and no longer updated. It tends to crash a lot as well, and just looks ugly. It's just firefox with some settings changed and addons plugged in, not a real browser. Its important that you understand that. One of the addons is responsible for the crashes, not malware.

I agree with all of the other positive comments about Wyzo... It is a awesome and superb open-source media browser based OFF OF THE MOZILLA PROJECT, and on Mozilla's project site, they list it as a Mozilla approved project. Mozilla DOES NOT list illegal or "bad-reputation" software, so it IS a LEGAL (and excellent in my opinion!) piece of software! Yes, though, it IS a Bittorrent client, so if you had intentions of downloading cracked software or other stuff that is in a (gray) area to download (such as movies or music that you didn't pay for) YES that is (mostly) illegal. And, if you are NOT CAREFUL or DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING WHEN DOWNLOADING from a Bittorrent client, YOU HAVE A POSSIBILITY OF DOWNLOADING VIRUSES OR SPYWARE. So if you people who posted bad comments got viruses or spyware while downloading, that IS YOUR FAULT, NOT WYZO's!! Wyzo is awesome! By the way, I have no affiliation with Wyzo... ;-)

To the few of you who are saying this site has malware, how on earth do you come up with that? Its nothing but firefox with some extra media components added to it. Don't you think mozilla would have had this website shut down if there was anything dangerous about it? Mozilla KNOWS this website since they use some addons from the company this site is from! Some of you should probably think about that.

I do NOT believe the n00bs with the green rating of this site. They're brand new accounts! Look at the red ratings! It's listed as a MALWARE site! Not only that, but this morning I found out this site had a profile on Twitter and it was following my updates! I've never met anyone from this site! Who the hell are they?! I've now made my updates private. Clearly some companies like to stalk people.
