Ist x10hosting.com sicher?

Free hosting was sporadic until they messed up and many users started receiving the message: "We've detected that a proxy or VPN is being used to access your account".  I held out for 2 weeks watching numerous topics on the forums get ignored. No proxy or VPN was used but you know the old saying, "You get what you pay for" and this is case in point. The message was probably fabricated to reduce free accounts active at the time considering there were daily outages. Support was non-existent.

my country isn't allowed in their site. this is pure discrimination. there is no reason my country isn't allowed in their site.  it says "We are not currently accepting new users from Sri Lanka. Please try again at a later date. We are expanding our allowed country list in the upcoming days."

Excellent service! I have been using it since 2011. It is now 2013 and I must say, it's really awesome. Unlimited storage and bandwidth, no file size or type limit. Their uptime, admittedly, can be a little unreliable, and if it were higher it would be an improvement, but the vast amount of features make up for it, and the staff always know what's wrong.

I would definitely avoid these guys. I started using their service at the start of 2011 and I was put onto their "Starka" server. I'd say it was about 50% uptime, and of that 50% when the site was accessible I would say at least 60% of the time the mySQL connection did not work, rendering the website useless. I highly recommend you go elsewhere for your hosting. Don't put yourself through the experience I had!!
