Ist yext.com sicher?

Their sales team seems confused. I was told to input my info to get listed on the internet. I did, but when they called me, they had my name right, but my address wrong. They said I input my address and quoted me an address. Sorry, I didn't input that address, but I would like to correct that in your database. "We don't have a database" Um, you called me and had my name correct. That was input into a database somewhere. You took my Address, but didn't correct that in your system. You are still using the old address. After several minutes of saying "I DID NOT ENTER THAT ADDRESS, He responded.... "That is what other sites have you listed as.... we don't have a database." What do you do when you spread my info to other sites? You don't keep it in a database while you send it out. "NO, we don't have a database" Ok, then I don't want to list with you. You don't even have a database to spread my info correctly to these other sites. I asked them NOT TO CALL ME AGAIN if you can not even get my address correct, and remember those corrections.

The 'free scan' to check for web site listing errors is similar to free scans offered by software that give a reading of hundreds of computer errors that need fixed immediately. The errors reported by yext.com are misleading and, in many cases, incorrect. After declining their web site service I was immediately bombarded with spam emails and telephone calls. The emails kept coming even after I went through their unsubscribe process. While on the phone (their 3rd call in two days) I asked the sales rep to show me an error listed on the free scan report (The scan showed a facebook error which was not present). The salesman could not explain how an error was listed which did not exist. The phone calls and emails continue to come. I plan to stay away from this company and will never give them any credit card number of mine.

NOTHING FREE! Email is nothing more than to sell you subscriptions to other sites. Like a darn door to door magazine subscription seller. You could claim the 'report' is free if you want to call the door-to-door subscription seller's run down of what they will sell you is free... or the menu at the restaurant as free...
