They call you on the phone and tell you that your computer is not configured correctly and then tell you to go to this website and install their software or pay or something. I cut them off once I had their website name so I could rate them poorly.

It's a sight used by the "Your computer is being attacked/hacked/has virus/needs update etc" telephone callers (Caller ID shows as unknown or 844-944-8449) who get you to download and run Supremo or another remote control tool. They usually either then encrypt everything or download and delete your files and ask for a ransom to get them back.
