It says it's free but it costs $6 to remove the watermark (and you obviously can't send in a passport photo with a watermark on it).

First the site is misleading: it is not free, you have to pay $6 to get rid of the watermark. This is just what I did and after payment the pictures became completely black as if they had been taken in a complete dark room! And of course nobody answered at customer services. Stay away from this scam.

Site looks legit. Functionality is poor, but if all you need is slightly brighter passport photo, it works.

123passportphoto is a very easy to use passport photo website that provides white background enhancement and high resolution photos. I have never had an issue while using this site or downloading my photos. The site has support with a web form. This site has no popups and tested clean and safe from malware. Norton Safe Web, McAfee SiteAdvisor and AVG found no issues with this site. Google Malware Diagnostic Tool reported this site as safe. Ratings and Stats were as listed at time of this review.
