Also, if a child submits a search on a person, links to offensive sites could appear." </endquote> It is also unclear whether WebCleaner allows someone to request removal of web content by or about someone else : the 123people website information about the product seems to imply that this is possible. That would be a serious ethical issue.

This website collects personal information through Facebook Applications and questionable data mining techniques from various social media networks and public records to provide a profile of an individuals web use habits, photos, phone numbers, e-mail, social network profile information, addresses, public records, estate value, previous history, etc. without obtaining consent. They then sell a persons individual history and profile to anyone who wants it.

Unsatisfactory ratings in most WOT categories. Poor WOT rating for privacy.This site will use information from your searches on-line and pictures from places like Facebook and distributes that information to this web-page. 123people.com may show disregard for your information by linking it to other places as well. Use extreme caution here.

This site tries to hook you by pulling up a completely unrelated, and most likely fake person. The pics of the girl they used have been all over the Net in a variety of ads, so I knew what it was. Skeezy on their part-shame! This is people-search spam.

Much to my shock, I found that this alleged legitimate site had copied a wedding photograph off of my web site and posted it on the page they generated for me. :( Avoid these people; they have no limits and no respect for the rules of decent behavior.
