Like others have commented, it's a useful site WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. The links that it "autogenerates", though, are complete bogus. I've gotten many files from MegaUpload through this website, and everything has been fine. No viruses. You just have to be careful.

Some search results include featured (sponsored) links which result to be executable files. You might be wondering that's no seriously dangerous at all. A book, i.e. might be a PDF or RAR, but it's weird when you realize it's an EXE.

Ultimately, this depends on the legitimacy and legality of the downloads themselves; the majority of legal uploads are safe, and the others may contain malware.

I haven't downloaded anything, but my reasons are good. I was searching for a serial (I know, I know, I'm a bad boy.=) ), but the files I found were suspicious. They were all 3mb+ .rar files. Why put a .txt, or similar files in a .rar file? Why were all the files .rar files? Not a single .txt file. And why where the files so big? I'm sure the key I was looking for weren't a 100 pages long. Whatever the files was, it wasn't what the title of them indicated.

I use this site frequently to download files and so far I haven't encountered any problems such as zango. Just be careful not to click the first result it gives when searching because its a fake link.
