This bulkmail business appears to be the owner of https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/*****, a domain used to send unsolicited email. Like act-on.com, the actonsoftware.com domain has an unusually large number of negative ratings and reports. Despite this, it also shows 'green' indicators (or 'off-green' anyway) for trustworthiness and child safety, suggesting that someone may be trying hard to improve the reputation of the domain by submitting positive reports. When a domain that seems to act only as a redirector (and thus is never actually a normal destination for a human user) has large numbers of positive reports, that is a fairly strong indicator that 'astroturfing' may be going on. Positive scorecard comments for 'act-on.com' seem to originate almost exclusively with 'rookie' MyWoT users, each of whom has only ever made a single post. The names of these supposed users also often follow recognizable patterns, suggesting that they are possibly randomly-generated fake names.

Very spammy marketing company. Alas, used by a number of legitimate businesses. Too many complaints if I block them, too many complaints if I don't block them. I really wish I could just block them entirely, and tell false positive complainers "They're spammers; don't do business with spammers; find an ESP that doesn't spam."

I am going to give it a yellow. When going directly to the site it checks out and the privacy policy is actually vastly superior to most in it's class- but then I see a high number of spam complaints in the reviews here. Based on that I am giving it yellow and leaving it blocked.

Best source for information around effective marketing and a great marketing automation tool. i highly recommend act-on for any business with a small sales team or those looking for a simple interface around a strong platform.

Act-On is a marketing automation platform with built in tools to ensure responsible marketing. I use it daily.

I use the Act-On platform daily to support multiple commercial clients. Act-On is fast, streamlined and gets the job done. My team also uses just about every other Marketing Automation platform in existence - we are certified experts for MAP. Act-On's product should be on the short list for any company that needs marketing automation and lead flow management with lead scoring. I also know the management team at Act-On - they are good people.

Got the email address ***** from the header of an email message reporting representing Malwarebytes. "Testing Results: Where does your anti-exploit protection stack up?" IP traces right to this domain. No way could this firm represent Malwarebytes, as the staff there hates spammers worse than I do.

idiotic spammers. their entire IP space is blocked on my mail servers (small biz corporate system, less than 100 users), and that is not something I'll do lightly, especially regarding an "ESP". But frankly, I don't think they deserve the title ESP. If it were just their customers spamming, it would still be bad, but after so many spams from their IP space advertising their own "email marketing" service, enough is enough.

Spam service provider. If they have your name, you are screwed. They will never let go of it.

This company blatantly sends spam , sending to people in any country. May the search engines penalize them. They promise to give away a TV, but this is highly unlikely.

spammers/identity harvesters for hire, this time hosting the spam-scammers from take 5 & hitting machine accounts with false claims of opt-in.
