Good site; no malware; Politischer Blog eines ehemaligen "DiePresse"-Journalisten mit Beiträgen und Meinungen abseits denen der etablierten "Mainstream-Medien"

Although the author never sais something questionable himself he would, apart from very obvious exceptions, not remove questionable content from the public discussions on his site – which by istself makes a statement far beyond the 'fig leaf' "every opinion is to be allowed". The public discussions are full of conspiracy theories, esoterics and opinions lacking any solid background. Even "off-main-stream" sounds better than it is: none of the articles are well researched (with 2-4 per day there are far too many for that), they are nothing but a personal opinion on a given topic and are overrated by the audience by far. P.S. The "dislike" probably is given by someone in close relation to the site, it should be ignored.

Despite the location of the hosting is in Germany, the main theme of this blog is Austrian politics. The opinions of this blog author and his community of commenters forms a stark contrast to the published (difference to public intended!) opinion in Austria, as many journalists in Austria are leftists (and, by the way, unfriendly/ignorant to business, science and mathematics). As a consequence, oftenly you can gain information (e.g. links to statistics) from the blog which isn't conveyed by the Austrian media. This change of view can be very refreshing. Of course, this blog shouldn't be your only source of political information.

Conservative blog with some interesting ideas and comments not usually found in mainstream media. A welcome change to the usual liberal left politically correct talk. However, it is sometimes off the mark, occasionally bordering on the absurd, with an annoyingly persistent anti global warming bias. Regrettably, the blog author all too often distorts facts to get them in line with his conservative views. Otherwise, mostly harmless.
