Is animaljam.com Safe?

Animal Jam is (was?) a great game! For all ages to, if you love animals I recommend playing this game! 3D Animal Jam is on mobile and pc, 2D Animal jam (Classic) is on pc. But, beware! There are a lot of kids who really want rares and will start scamming people for rare items, if you play Animal Jam, please be a Jammer, NOT a scammer!!!! Peopel trade and buy and work hard for their items! Other than that, the game is SUPER addicting! It's evolved a lot over the years, and your probably wondering why I put "(was?)" besides "is", well thats because its not JUST Scammers, Hackers too! Yes, you heard me, HACKERS! If you find a video on how to get free items, do NOT do what the videos say! They are just trying to get your items, so please do not share your account information! Your items might be lost forever!! :( But, I still recommend the game, just be careful!!

I really liked this game and was addicted. Nothing went wrong. Then I got a membership, after a month it kept going without letting us know. First, it was expensive and in the end around $60 CA was wasted. The first thing that was off. Then today I went on and this was the 2 times today. I was hacked. All my good items were gone and my sheep cloak that I earned yesterday was also gone. I didn't know who hacked my buddies and I were also saying their friends were being hacked. I decided to quit. Stay safe everyone! This may be addicting but please try!

Animal Jam is an amazing game. I have always loved it because i have played it since i was really young.( And have got hacked or scammed a few times) It is developed by National Geographic and in my opinion is really fun.There are also many youtubers who do videos on Animal Jam and you can go to their dens (houses) and say hi if they are online. BEWARE OF HACKERS/SCAMMERS

I've been playing this game ever since it was first released back when it was in beta, and I still do. It's very fun. I've made plenty of friends, and it also features plenty of educational features, though a lot of kids might prefer to ignore the educational features, since the player is given a choice whether or not they want to look at the educational features in the game. There is no setting to turn on or off educational features, but often you have to click to look at these educational bits, so people can easily ignore these. The site is especially good for kids who have a passionate love for animals. Unfortunately, though, like any kids game with the ability to type words instead of choosing from a list of phrases, there are a lot of bullies, some people who cheat the chat filter and use inappropriate language, and a few inappropriate players who attempt to have erotic roleplay with other players. I've only encountered two in my whole entire 7 years of playing (technically 8 since Animal Jam is turning 8 some time this year) and only one of those two actually attempted to have sexual roleplay with me, the other I chose to ignore and block, luckily avoiding them before they initiated anything sexual with me. If you are a parent, I would suggest keeping an eye on your kids who play it, just to make sure they don't run into any of these kinds of people, or even become one of these people. Make sure your kids block and report the people like the ones I just mentioned, and make sure they log out for 5 seconds after reporting them, as the reports won't work unless you log out for a small amount of time first. Other than that, I really enjoy Animal Jam, and the developers of Animal Jam work hard to try to stop the rule breakers, they even made it so that two players can't use the sleep action too close to each other or use the sit action too close to a player who is using the sleep action in order to stop the sexual roleplay. They have also blocked many words combined with other words that may be used in sexual roleplay like this. There are a few troll reviews on here saying that the game contains animal porn, racism, sex, other things inappropriate for kids, but please don't listen to them. Unless you count the sexual roleplayers which honestly aren't even game-made, they're all players, there is nothing 18+ about this game.

VERY nice.... One problem: Animal Jam used to be all about learning, making friends! Then Beta Stage went away. They removed facts, some items, and with these "Some items" leaving... Well, people got more greedy.... Some people would choose these items over friends, some people steal these rares by tricking people (aka scamming)... Also.... Some people can get around the censoring.... It's gotten a lot better though. :3
