Is animerebel.com Safe?

I find that this site has a fantastic selection of the latest anime episodes. They seem to update daily since the latest or current episodes are always available for viewing. I have it bookmarked and go there to watch all my favorite current and older anime episodes. Clean site, no malware that I can see. No issues with the site as far as I am concerned.

I found this to be a very clean site with few adverts compared to similar sites. Its funny how the other comments mention adfly ads, but I didnt find one single adfly ad on the site, and the one that listed the virus total rating failed to mention that it got listed suspicious by 1 out of 63 scanners. 63 said it was clean but he focused on the 1 false positive. Hater gonna hate! I think these others must be competitors. Good site, go use it and enjoy the anime they have there. I know I will use the site again with confidence!

While this site does have an excellent library of anime, it does sometimes trigger malicious ***** pop-ups that circumvent AdBlock. I tried clicking on the "Free Downloads" section of the website, I was redirected to a functional part of the website that really did offer free downloads, but a malicious ***** pop-up opened as well. If I had pressed "skip ad" or had let the ad automatically skip, I would have been redirected to a site with a horrible WOT rating.
