Is anywho.com Safe?

I was impressed. This is one of the rare information sites that doesn't seem to lie to people. Most resort to treachery such as promising free and then it isn't free or generating fake results or other dirty tricks. Overall this one looks vastly superior to most similar sites.

i just used this site for the first time for a reverse number lookup. i had no problems. i presume it's their other services that cost, but for pretty basic stuff, the site seems to spot on. noscript had no trackers and Ghostery had two, so it's pretty clean in that regard. all-in-all things look straightforward with no sneaky tricks involved.

There are no free searches. run any phone number and they all tell you that no info was found, you have to do a paid search through intelius. Anywho's reverse phone lookup page even has intelius's logo as the "favicon" (the icon in a browser address bar). they don't even pretend to not be a front for intelius. what a total scam!
