I don't understand why people are rating this as a phishing site. Artech is one of the largest providers of I.T. contractors to major companies such as IBM. It is true that their headquarters is in New Jersey while some of their recruiters are in India, but I don't consider that deceptive.

Contacted by US recruiter - NOT from India. The recruiting process was the same as with any other staffing company. No problems, no worries.

spams job seekers

Contacted by a Recruiter (located in India) in response to my resume on Monster.com. I verified they *did* have my resume, and the job posting *is* legit. Was NOT asked for SSN (not even partial) or cell# (specifically), so does NOT appear to be a phishing scam to me. My biggest complaint with India-based recruiters is they rarely get you an interview. Either their follow-thru isn't as good as a local firm, or employers disregard their applicants (probably due to them submitting too many unqualified people).

I was spammed by this company, too. They claim they got my info from a resume posted online. I can only assume its ***** since that's the only public one I have out there. Gonna remove and MAYBE it will help. Of course, my name has probably already been sold all over the place.

Phishing site; headhunter / jobsite / recruiter "Social engineering" scam; non-existent jobs; urgency requires you to give up social security number over phone to various people all located in India but acting as if they are located in New Jersey.
