Is barbwire.com Safe?

The negative comments illustrate why the 1st amendment is so important. If the only viewpoints allowed are those of the politically correct jihadists we are well on the road to societies such as 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. For those who do not understand the references, I recommend your local library. This site is safe and suitable for children. Younger children will not understand the opinions and therefore are not endangered. Older children will benefit from exposure to viewpoints that are not limited to those of their social circles.

Just because you disagree with the content, doesn't make this an unsafe site. I am not a christian, and I do not agree with them. That doesn't mean I'm going to flag a site as "bad" because christian are talking about christian subjects. We have a 1st amendment right to speak our minds. It's a slippery slope when you give a negative rating simply because you disagree, because that SAME tactic can/will be used against you for YOUR points of view. Using WOT in this way is abusive to the spirit of the program.

just read "the myth of the gay holocaust..." and am impressed by the number of solid references referred too. there are a 1/2 dozen historically verified and recognized books quoted to make a reliable historical picture. really well done and well researched article.

Site is trustworthy ... Information is researched extensively. Facts and truth being the ultimate goal for a well informed public concerning the issues at hand. No matter where the facts takes them. Using medical facts and stats from such credible sites such as the CDC. And they present those facts, without bile or hatred. Without the truth of facts, political correctness will eventually kill us all.

I think the writers are evil religious extremists, and the kinds of things they say are extremely dangerous to children. But I'm leaving this rating because the "trust" rating is for how SECURE the site is, not whether you agree with the opinions of the site's writers.

It is primarily a political / social commentary site, and so some posts may not be appropriate for children. But it is not in any way intended to be a child-unfriendly site. In addition, you are free to disagree with the items and viewpoints posted. But just because you may disagree does not make it a hate site. Any room left for calm and civil discussion of issues in this country?

Once again, those giving low ratings are doing so only because they disagree with the religious and political view of this website. WOT ratings are NOT to be used to censure those you don't agree with. There is nothing wrong with this site and, in fact, reflects the political views and religious beliefs of many if not a majority.
