I can't believe how they have abandoned my trust. "The Better Business Bureau, one of the country's best known consumer watchdog groups, is being accused by business owners of running a "pay for play" scheme in which A plus ratings are awarded to those who pay membership fees, and F ratings used to punish those who don't. Here's a fact that you might not know, and it's true. See how some bad websites get their good rating? They are not a government agency. Only a mediator. They give their opinion. They give good reviews to paying members. And when people call in about non paying members, they just solicit that business to become a member. If its a negative call in - then they just mediate nonchalantly trying to get something done without bringing in any other agency.

The Better Business Bureau is a total FRAUD. They are there to take membership dues from companies, NOT help consumers. AVOID like Aids!
Down with the BBB! I don't trust them anymore! See http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/bbb-members-ratings-12129596.
The BBB holds my reputation hostage. Most people just go to them to complain. They demand money to bring me from a bad rating to an accredited business. At least web of trust gets a wide range and a good ratio of good/bad reviews.

Listed on Ripoffreport.com and take heed. BBB is NOT on the side of the consumer. They make a token effort but keep in mind business PAY the BBB membership dues. Do NOT even dream of contacting them if you are the consumer. Complain to Comsumerist.com, FTC.gov, and blog the crap out of them. Just DO NOT have any dealings with the BBB.
The BBB is a joke. All they want is you dues and thats it. Try to report one of their members you get nowhere. STAY AWAY

Pay to play scheme. Modern version of Chicago racketeering Mob bosses. Gave my dad an F rating because he would not pay for a good rating. A fake hamas donation site was given A+!
Their ratings cannot be trusted. Malware found on some high rated sites.
