Is bedbugreports.com Safe?

It's not a terrible site, but I think the fear-mongering and crazy people posting b.s. reviews outweigh the useful information. My gf immediately rules out any hotel with even one person saying it had bed bugs, even if it's from like a year ago and the person is obviously a lunatic. Gets a little annoying when we're looking for hotels in NYC. Fact is, bed bug infestations can change constantly. A room is only as good as the last visitor. At least a little bit of website housekeeping (like removing posts after a certain amount of time, or following up with hotels to get updates) would make this much more useful. As it is, the info is generally outdated and unreliable.
