Apparently it is another CDN for sites like Tom's Hardware- which has a preposterous number of things attempting to run in the background.

This is the very rare and exceptional case when I have to agree with Mr Klingon Pianosa: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/bestofmedia.com/comment-78765133#comment-78765133 This is a user behaviour tracking / "analytics" (advert targeting) content and product recommendation company now called Purch, still serving from the bestofmedia.com domain. ***** ***** ***** Affiliated with AT Internet NetRatings SiteCensus ***** ***** Although hpHosts et al say it is clean and OK, it serves a lot of user- and ad tracking, advert displaying et al unwanted scripts when enabled. The [usual] trick is to link advertising / analytics with content delivery network (CDN) services. Recommendations: a) enable only when necessary b) filter unwanted (ad / tracking) scripts

As far as i can tell this is a Content Distribution Network serving, possibly among others, Tom's Hardware(PC hardware journalism site.) Necessary for ***** to fully function, as bestofmedia.com hosts its Cascading Style Sheets.

Failure of shipping with Excel 2007 autodidakt DVD by the Best of Media. Cost me quite a lot of annoyances : getting through the office, linking the relevant agent, and waiting for about half a month...for nothing but a reimbursement of the command. Waist of time and sweat.
