Clickbaity headlines are a major turn-off for me. If the subject isn't worthy of a descriptive headline, then it isn't worthy of my time. Its left leaning position and sensationalist style detracts from what would otherwise be considered - somewhat ironically - bipartisan. More a disappointment of style than anything else.

This site just spews misleading and sometimes completely fabricated stories presented as news. Gets a lot of clicks because stories support liberal confirmation bias. Improve your credibility: If you find a story here, get a better source. It may be true, but this site is at the top of Patheos "sites to not link from".

False/misleading headlines and content. In other words, click bait.

While the political slant of this site is certainly no reason to rate it badly, the site posted a number of patently false titles, meant to sway people politically against conservative and libertarian topics or politicians. The content of these stories did not match these click-bait titles. While this tactic may be expected in this enlightened era, the site seems obviously intended to mislead to me.
Helpful
This site poses as a news site, however the reportage is more a matter of equivocation, innuendo and gossip, thus inspires little trust, no matter what one's politics are.

"American" news site with server based in the Australian state of Queensland. "About Us" and "Contact Us" pages are identical. A few stories seem to make outrageous claims. Example: •True: Massachusettes' AG announced that her office would be "stepping up enforcement" of the state's long-existing ban on "copycat assault weapons." •False: Massachusettes implemented a new law banning the sale of all semi-automatic rifles.

This site will not compromise your computer. I think someone is misusing the purpose of WOT in the cause of their own political agenda, and thus marking the site as "untrustworthy". I have looked at it numerous times and have no malware, viruses, phishig, scamming, indications of privacy risks, etc. While it has strong political opinions, I see nothing that can could be considered "hate" language. As to children: depends on their age and interest.

The site is a bit to the left but not harmful. .

"Fox News" viewers give this site a bad rep.  This site is really fair and balanced.
3
Left-wing news site. As with any politically-aligned website, take its information with a grain of salt.

Seems to be balanced, and factual

It's a news site, with a decidedly left lean, and a bit of a penchant for overly-dramatic writing. I don't see anything harmful or damaging, so I'm rating as safe to visit, and safe for children. However, keep in mind it reads like a reverse Fox News, so keep your objectivity handy.
4
The lone poster rating this site negatively is doing so purely for ideological reasons. Such nonsense shouldn't even be allowed. The site covers news and politics and I guess some people take issue with that when they think their personal opinions aren't pandered to enough. This site is trustworthy and safe to browse and navigate in all ways.
4
This site is in no way harmful except to those who've inserted sticks too far up their posteriors and are in danger of hurting themselves if startled by information that conflicts with their narrow perspectives.
10
While they claim to be bipartisan, they seem to be slanted a bit to the left.  No different really than Fox "News" claiming to be "Fair and Balanced."
