The site is legit and has been around for a long time -- like 30 years. Most of the accounts/women are legitimate there. As with any dating site, use your best judgment and ask good questions to filter out the fakes. In particular, be wary of profiles from Chinese women. These are often fake accounts to get you to join another (scam) website or get your e-mail address "to send photos" even though they could upload them just as easily within this site. But aside from that, it's a legit site and I've met some lovely people from there -- in person!

when signing up be aware that most women, especially from the Phils ask for money after the first or second chat, dont go for the pics, ask for webcams right away. Also be aware that Nigerian scammers fake an ID and make up stories about "I am visiting my uncle/father etc. in Norway/Japan/USA but go back to Benin/Ghana in two days"... use IPlocator to check the origin of emails, ask for webcam right away. DONT SEND MONEY EVER.
