Is breakthru.com Safe?

The front page presents a false picture of innocence and offers a desirable resource: spam-free email. But apparently free, unspammable email accounts aren't sufficiently attractive, so this company also offers to pay its members to get other people to sign up for these free email accounts. Why the desperation, and what is the source of the money? The answer is that this company has more than 20 affiliates, all of whom are in the sex industry, such as FriendFinder and similar low class sex-partner-finder scams. It is an email service, but it misrepresents itself to potential customers, and children should not use it. Neither should self-respecting adults.

i have been using this service for about 4 years, no spam, no malware, no viruses. perhaps people having problems are using A.V.G anti-virus (king of false positives) or got viruses elsewhere. As for child safety, it's an e mail service, anyone who thinks that it is unsafe probably should try to learn a little more about computers in general.
