Supports Oracle in the appeal of Oracle v Google, which could have serious consequences for software developers including myself. Also, Oracle, which is one of its members, bundles Potentially Unwanted Programs with its Java updates. BSA is anti-freedom and its members do unethical things with impunity. While WOT notes that this website holds a Symantec Trust Seal, this is a conflict of interest since Symantec is a BSA member. Its Google takedowns list itself as the "original URL" instead of the actual software developer, and gives improper descriptions, so its takedown notices may be improper. No SSL on homepage, not that it is necessary to perform surveillance. Appears to block Tor with a 500 error. While GURBL may be a false positive, it may have been triggered by their surveillance activities appearing suspicious.

Evil, uncreative, soul-less morons who have nothing better to do & think companies who make tons of money already are somehow being hurt by piracy when they aren't. Look at Adobe, barely anyone would even know what photoshop is if people hadn't pirated it many many years ago & decided to recommend it to others & more often than not, had their employers (who could afford outrageous prices like that) actually purchase the software for the company they worked at. These people would have you believe that those who pirate software aren't your everyday average person who is likely just like you or me & isn't awful or unkind or a thief by any means, & it's utter bullshit. Hateful hateful organization.

Wow, their AD's are full of hatred... One of the most stupid and useless projects ever!
6
Business Software Alliance home site. This web site is likely to be criticized by thieves who, lacking in any conscience, will steal intellectual property and sell it for their own profit. The BSA sets out to counteract the rampant theft that has been occurring, predominantly in places like Russia and Romania.

Site of BIG BROTHER software publishers who would rather litigate than to innovate.

This is the website of the Business Software Alliance, which opposes software piracy. The site is OK, regardless of what one's personal views on the matter might be.
