Is budurl.com Safe?

This is actually one of the safest, most reliable URL shorteners currently. The reports of spam/malware on here are very old. 1. Budurl is targeted at enterprises, not individuals. They no longer even offer a free service, and you have to enter a credit card even for a free trial. 2. They check all links against surbl.org, and they let people know this. When you post a URL, directly under the form field is this message: "URLs are checked multiple times daily against ***** for unsolicited message violations." 3. The comment below mentioning them being reported for malware on ***** is from December 2012. And, there's only one report. Saying a site is untrustworthy because out of millions of URLs shortened, there's been a single report of malware, two years ago? That's kind of ridiculous.

ENOM is sponsoring this illegal spamming domain operation, and accepts payments for the unlawful domain name registrations. Where Go Daddy shows corporate responsibility, ENOM shows corporate irresponsibility. And toothless ICANN accredits them, while pocketing the accreditation fees. Let me put it this way; I have been following this man for 5 years and he only puts out good products. If you are on his mailing list feel lucky. If you want off just opt out. He does not do the spam thing, he doesn't need to. He has plenty of clients without your narrow view in the mix. Please opt out and make room for those who understand what IS going on.
