Is builtwithreason.com Safe?

After what I admit is a cursory glance at the site and a little background investigation, I can't see the reason for this site to be Red-rated in WOT. The company developed "ShouldIRemoveIt" and HerdProtect and has acquired Unchecky, so it doesn't appear to be involved in suspicious activity. Maybe it's the location of their server in Washington DC that's viewed with suspicion :-)

Owned by the developer of a highly-rated program, shouldiremoveit (http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/index.aspx), which helps to identify programs that you should uninstall. It works much the same as WOT by gathering user ratings and some expert input for each product. He's been trying to get the reputation improved for his ***** site which is currently rated red. This rating appears to be the main reason why this associated site is rated bad as well. He's got some support for this too: ***** ***** I've seen no problems on these sites and no malware is detected when scanning.
