Going to this site (the CarrierIQ home page) will not give your computer malware. Additionaly, this site does not contain any scams or phishing attempts and is child-safe.
However, with that said, CarrierIQ has been found to have been creating rootkits for mobile phones, which is definitely not OK.

This is stupid for WOT to flag this "site" as having a poor reputation. There's nothing dangerous about the website itself -- it's not going to pass me a virus or offend my children.
Sure, they make a product that sucks. But there's nothing wrong with visiting the site itself. This kind of crap makes me want to stop using WOT.

They put software on phones that tracks things that you do, even over HTTPS connections, and sends some things back to the carrier. There is no way to opt out of it, so you must flash an alternate unofficial ROM to your phone that excludes CarrierIQ to remove it, thus voiding your warranty. This company is NOT TO BE TRUSTED!
