Is cbeyond.net Safe?

Unbelievable. First, their sales reps are trained to be extremely pushy, insistent, and to say ANYTHING in order to complete a sale. They will show at your business unannounced and will rarely leave without you signing the service contract. The contracts are long and always appear to be filled with boilerplate- but Cbeyond puts hidden snags inside. Their service is spotty at best in many areas and they charge 2 to 3x normal companies for this. Customer service is horrible and will often ignore your requests for months on end - even if they are CRITICAL PROBLEMS - and dismiss them later with a simple "We're looking into it." Their equipment and technology is sub-par.... but the last thing you will do is exit the service. Hidden well in there is a clause stating that if you leave, that counts as a contract violation and YOU have to pay for all of the time you did not use the service- so if you quit 1 year in on a 4 year contract, you MUST pay the remaining 3! This can add up to over $15000 in costs! BEWARE OF CBEYOND! STAY WELL AWAY!!!!!

We have asked them on several occasions to stop calling, if we want their services, we would contact them. Not only do they continue to call, but they even showed up unannounced at 6:00 P.M., when one person was in the office and said they were between appointments. What kind of company does business with a telecom/IT company at 6:00 at night and later, unless they are currently having problems?
