I am not a fan of Charter and never have been so this review may be a bit biased.
I don't think the customer service is good as I have had to wait hours on hold and had problems in office as well. It was the only alternative to antennae for years so I dealt with them. The service went out regularly and I had nothing but problems. I am thankful for Netflix and Dish for rescuing me from them.

Charter unexpectedly jacked up the prices of their service without any of their customers consent. Now I pay double for service only 1/3 faster. Please stop doing this.

No problems with Charter, and they provide high quality and very fast and affordable internet service in our area. When I cancelled TV service, I was mildly annoyed by them asking me what i liked to watch most when I did watch TV, lol. None of their business, hehe. I'm sure they were just trying to upsell me some TV package like a sports package.

Unfortunately in my city they are the only cable provider around, they are terrible and they WILL try to take advantage of you by raising your monthly payment, if you don't pay attention to it you will be charged more then what you should be paying. Avoid this cable provider if possible, get Comcast as I heard they are better.

READ ME!!!! You know what they do to poor old ladies? THEY RIP THEM OFF! I have been looking for the site all afternoon and I can't find it, but I did read a report that Charter cut some older woman's phone lines and didn't turn on any of the services. DO NOT GO WITH THESE EVIL MANIACS! AND DON'T LISTEN TO THE BBB'S HOGWASH!

I signed up for service on-line for a special price. The first bill arrived and was $10 higher than the quoted price. Charter refuses to honor the price on my printed receipt because they didn't offer that package at the time of installation. If you do business with Charter keep good records.

Charter's cust service is the worst. Do not use Charter for anything unless you have no other choice. Get them to document EVERYTHING. Otherwise one month later you will still get bills for returned equipment or canceled services.
