From Wiki "Chitika, Inc. (pronounced CHIH-tih-ka) is a search-targeted advertising company. In 2013, Chitika announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with Yahoo!. The agreement includes off–network search syndication, monetization of Yahoo! owned and operated properties, and mobile ad serving and monetization. You can opt out of their service at ***** so have only marked this as caution. Adblockers should prevent any problems but seems largely ethical with the opt out option.

Tracking sites are mostly useful to site owners and marketers, otherwise I block it and almost all tracking sites. I *will* turn tracking back on for sites which request it, ususally a "one time only" basis..
