Is clark.com Safe?

Clark is a long-time consumer "warrior" and his site is completely safe and is not a phishing or data mining site. It's a great site to use for consumer buying , safety and other useful consumer tips. I have used it for years without any problems. The site does have lots of ads but that's how Clark makes money. Most of the ads do offer useful benefit to prospective buyers.

This site was returned on the first page several unrelated search results from Google. Each time I checked the site, it was devoid of any relevant content despite the search result appearing valid. The page the result lead to was riddled with advertisements and an incredible amount of tracker scripts attempted to execute, but were blocked by browser extensions. With ad blocking disabled there was still no content related to the search term. Sometimes there was a supposedly relevant video embedded in the page but only played advertisements back-to-back. Based on this experience, the site is a sham and a vector for advertising. I have blacklisted this domain.
