Reading these reports always makes me scratch my head. What kind of businesses feels that they need to stood so low, that they need to resort to underhanded tactics, such as creating fake Apps, that covertly installs annoying Adware? Are they so desperate for customers, that they believe loading up peoples' computers with irritating pop ups, and Spam will generate new generate new consumer interest in their business, products and services? Most people have better things to do with their time than read pop up Ads, or linger their company's website to browse after being hijacked while enroute to a totally different site, and unceremoniously deposited on the business's site instead. H*ll no! The Hijackee will more than likely mutter an irritated expletive, and continue on to their rightful destination! Not only that, but these sort of sneaky practices usually have the opposite effect. Being waylayed and delivered to a business's website, or seeing the company's name over and over again, as pop ups interrupt what a person is doing, is going to leave a bad taste in MOST people's mouthes! I wouldn't be interested in the goods or services of a business who repeatedly bugged me with pop up Ads when I was busy, or snatched in transit and taken to a site that holds absolutely no interest for me. I don't know about you folks but that company's name will stick with me for quite some time. Companies that do this stuff, and the computer geeks who program the software that makes this possible, should lose their licenses to do business, pay VERY stiff fines, and do some time behind bars!
