I hate this site. It's the same thing as Softonic with the downloads. They use free software to slip in their toolbars, startup-websites and software no one wants. The creators of the freeware don't get appreciated, because they don't see that people like and download their stuff. Ethical issues big time. Die Seite nutzt Freeware um durch Toolbars, dem Einrichten neuer Startseiten und Software von Drittanbietern Geld zu verdienen. Die Macher der Freeware werden dabei ausgeschlossen und Cnet profitiert von deren freien Arbeit.

I downloaded a security program from the site and it turned out there was a malware program in it: "Win32 Trojan-gen." There are also strange programs to download here, some can be used for crime.

I have always gotten good downloads from cnet. The ads are annoying, but their ***** is great.
