The site carries a lot of car adverts with prices that appear too good to be true. They are, they're scams, often very sophisticated. Even though the site owners may have nothing to do with the scams I'm sure they are aware of them and it must greatly increase the number of page views. One scam used my telephone number, probably without checking it was a real number. The phone was ringing constantly. Although we contacted the web site immediately with proof it was a scam they did nothing to take down the ad or remove my number until we made a formal complaint to the police and faxed them a copy of the statement, then the ad disappeared immediately.
