Is comodo.com Safe?

Good site I am currently using there free antivirus software. It's pretty comprehensive with a firewall and sandbox to run untrusted applications in the free version. It does install their version of chrome called Chromodo as a browser, and also a technical support program if your don't do a custom install and uncheck them.
