I strongly advise against hiring Lee Mintz for real estate services from Compass based on my extremely negative experience. I enlisted Lee's help to find a suitable tenant for our duplex, relying on her expertise to conduct thorough evaluations and screenings. She promptly estimated the rental value and began showing the property, quickly presenting us with what she claimed was a good offer from a seemingly reliable family. Unfortunately, it became clear that Lee did not perform due diligence on the tenants' background. Despite her assurance of their credibility, the tenant turned out to be a con artist who failed to pay rent immediately after moving in. When I contacted Lee regarding the issue, she was dismissive and refused to acknowledge her role in the debacle, stating she "does not work for free." This response was not only unprofessional but also negligent, considering she earned a commission based on an entire year's rent, of which we only collected for one month. Lee's failure to properly vet the tenant has left us in a dire situation, forcing us to incur additional costs for legal services to handle the eviction and loss of income from the unpaid rent. It's clear that her priority was her commission, not the welfare of her clients. If you are looking for a real estate agent who is thorough, professional, and truly has your best interests at heart, I urge you to look elsewhere. Lee Mintz did not live up to the professional standards expected, and her negligence has had significant financial repercussions for us. Do not make the same mistake we did.
