Is coolsavings.com Safe?

You can't even get to the printable coupons on this site without being forced to go through a ton of "offers" - all of which you have to read very carefully and say SKIP or answer NO to all their questions. I gave a fake name/address because I sure don't want any spam from these people.

Annoying adds, email, or snail-mail if you order something. If you give them payment then they have your address and your email. I get spammed to death, and they do not go away if you ask to be removed from their mail list, then your information is sold to a thousand other spammers.. Now you have a chain reaction which goes on&on... You will have to change email servers.

I have used this site for a number of years, when setting it up read what you are checking as it is automatically checked to send stuff to your email. I deselected everything and I only get coupons when I want to. I get them by going to the site and seeing what is available. It works and I get little if any spam I can blame on them.

This site is helpful for getting printable coupons for grocery shopping; that's all I use it for. There are a lot of annoying ads, and they do put a limit on how many coupons you can print. but I've had no other problems; I'm on a Mac, so I don't have the virus problems. I do get related SPAM but it's easy to hit the JUNK and/or DELETE button.
