It used to be an innocent prank site that used an exploit to crash your browser, but now the domain is parked.

No longer works on Safari, due to the history.pushState() security item that blocks it if it is ran more than 100 times per 30 seconds.

Like what most Users Say This is Intended to Crash your Browser. Sometimes it can crash your system since it overloads your Memory (RAM)

The site is intended to crash your browser. Sure its annoying and might cause a crash of the tab, browser or even device, but it does not cause any damage or give any viruses or spyware (no malware). The only thing there is, is a few lines of JavaScript that expose a bug in chrome / safari's memory handling. Along with a line of text Also its a great Prank :) PS: on the iphone 7 there is no crash. It got patched.

This Site Shows An Exploit That Apple Has Failed To Patch, Also Who Would Visit A Site Called crashsafari.com? Idiots I Think.

Literally, the website it only intended to crash your browser (if you want to, for whatever reason) and doesn't give you malware or viruses, and doesn't redirect you anywhere. It also has a side effect that if you are on a iPhone (or something similar) it will also crash that, because there's a slight bug in Apples Safari code for iPhones that makes that happen (It's Apple's fault, not the guy who made the webpage). There's also a quite informative video about it too: *****

Overloads an Apple device, causing it to crash.

This website is INTENDED to crash the browser. Isn't malware... he shows a bug that exist in most of the Chrome/safari browsers. Yes, the browser crash, but nothing more happend... No malware, no redirect and nothing else. In fact, the only "malware" is the Google Analytics code in the website (if you can call it that). No malicius file in there...
