I recently visited Currys, and overall, I had a pretty good experience! They have an awesome selection of electronics, and I really love checking out all the latest gadgets. Only, it would be great if they could improve their inventory updates, as that would make the shopping experience so much smoother and save a bit of time. Despite that hiccup, the staff were super friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. I ended up finding some great deals, and I’m definitely planning to return.

Never going to get these to install anything, got a fridge and paid a huge amount for it and the installation and to take the old one away. got 1 experienced installer with some idiot in toe, Demanded a cup of coffee from my mother who has senile dementia, they left without taking the whole fridge (like it's possible) Paid for removal and they left the doors behind. never going to use Currys for anything in future.

Absolutely horrendous. The online component of the company seems to have very little integration with the high-street stores and the customer service is appalling. I ordered an expensive home cooker via Currys, after our trusty Hotpoint broke on Boxing Day. Currys took my money up front and said it'd arrive within 7-10 days. Fast forward a fortnight and still no communication from Currys. So I tried to ring customer service. Do you know how long it actually takes to speak to a real human being? After about 20 minutes of cycling through menus, finally get to speak to a representative - who was naturally as shocking as the service. Apparently Currys had no idea of my purchases and blamed the manufacturer. That didn't stop them taking the money though did it? Eventually after walking them through every single delivery code and reference number, they finally believed that I had in fact purchased a cooker (for a while they seemed convinced I had bought a washing machine). After an age, they admitted that the product I bought isn't available for several months. Naturally I demanded a refund, but lo and behold, Currys wasn't about to disappoint on this front either - claiming they were unable to refund the purchase on a Saturday (when I called). Ironically, it doesn't seem to bother them that I made my purchase on a weekend. Apparently when it comes to weekends, Currys can handle money coming in, but not coming out. Basically never going to purchase anything from them again. Thieving scumbags who advertise non-existent products as being readily available. Congratulations Currys, you just lost yourself a customer.

***** Worst advice, and, for example, my housemate was ripped off by their expensive and pathetically-under-performing extended warranty, they really took the piss for the price - and they aggressively sell these shit warranties, hence a bad reliability and trustworthiness rating from me. Yes, they're also over-priced, but if you have a PC and cant' do a websearch for a price comparison you deserve it.
