Fun game with a decent amount of depth in regards to nation building. May not be great for children due to a sometimes angry community, but in general is fine.

Competitive nation-building simulation, with very little non-numerical details. So, it can't exactly be unsafe for children.

Highest ratings on all but child safety. This site has large "alliances" whose forums are held off-site. While Cybernations scores well, parents should be aware that these alliance forums have different rules and they should check the rating on those sites as well. Because these alliances are an integral part of the game, that caution filters up to cybernations itself, since it allows alliances and acknowledges that they are part of the game. Cool game, and is free. Doesn't take too much time to play, but you can spend forever strategizing and participating in the forums. Could be quite addictive, especially to children.

Browser-based massively multiplayer game. Design a nation and engage in war. The game administrators collect "donations" in exchange for in game bonuses. No malware, very child safe.
