Hosts a lot of ill-intentioned activity: comment spam, probing bots etc. Untrustworthy.

A great deal of spam and DoS attacks on mail servers come from this network.

Datashack hosts hacker site ***** which is engaged in unauthorized port scanning and unauthorized attempts to gain access to other people's servers. Datashack's abuse department ignores complaints about this hacker site it is hosting. The offending IPs used in hacking attempts are: ***** (probe01.projectblindferret.com) ***** (probe02.projectblindferret.com) ***** (probe03.projectblindferret.com) ***** (probe04.projectblindferret.com)

Multiple reports of a scammer sending out spam has done nothing. The same spam is still coming from a datashack.net account. NEVER trust a spammer NEVER buy from spammers (HIGH fraud risks) NEVER visit spammed web sites (HIGH malware risks)

brute force attack from their network

Massive amounts of spam, SIP toll fraud attempts, and malware, coming from their network. Wish they would enforce their AUP.

I think other WOT users don't understand the difference between servers using datashack as a hosting provider and then sending spam vs datashack itself sending spam. Datashack afaik doesn't send spam. I've been using their hosting for a server there for about 2-3 years now with a pretty positive experience so far. Support can be a bit slow but only because they seem a bit understaffed.

It is a dedicated server hosting company, that does not enforce a strong anti-spamming policy to its clients, since it is used by spammers a lot. I had to blacklist it to protect my forum.

We have received a few DOS attacks originating from customers on Data Shack's networks.

***** is a dedicated server hosting company. I rent around 5 servers from there and they have good quality bargain servers. The customer support is quite quick and efficient, and the servers perform the way they should. The comment below about spam coming from there is probably from one of their customers. They have a clear policy about spam mail being sent from their servers and upon notification they would probably take actions against that server owner.
