Desert Bus is a yearly event when a bunch of comedians get together in Canada and play "one of the most boring games ever" for the Child's Play charity. They play it in a marathon sessions wit a set time limit at first, bu the time limit goes up the more people donate. They also get people to do challenges (like balancing hats on their heads for a certain length of time) and have auctions (they auction of various gaming and non-gaming related items, such as posters and books and games) This year (2011) the desert bus ran for 150 hours and raised over $380,000. Awesome things happen when you pack that many comedians in one room.
