When I first reviewed this domain, I marked them as a spam source and commented: "Email marketing business. Various servers at domains registered to this company (i.e. directiq12.com, ***** etc) are used to deliver significant amounts of unsolicited email." The Compliance Manager at DirectIQ has since messaged me, saying "... I've joined ***** in July 2014 and since then we have kicked out almost 50% of our clients because they were sending unsolicited emails." Our spamtraps have not detected any unsolicited messages from DirectIQ domains since mid-September 2014. It looks as if their efforts to clean house may have been effective. I have therefore removed the 'Spam' flag from my review. UPDATE [2016-10-01] Starting in December 2015, I have seen a small but increasing amount of spam sent through DirectIQ domains, so it appears that their efforts to eliminate spammers have been only partially successful. I am therefore returning the DirectIQ domains to my own blacklists, and restoring the 'Spam' flag and 'Suspicious' rating.

WoT's plugin, "Webutation" simply rates it badly as that is what all users rate it. Just sayin' in case that's why you came here to review. Anyway...Well, it is a website for the E-Mail business. To be precise, the EMail marketing business. It will not give a virus out ta ya, and has not spammed, as far as I am concerned. Every antivirus plugin except WoT's plugin has rated it CLEAN. As far as I'm goin', Case Closed.

An up and coming email service provider from NYC, met the founders in a tech event, they take their practice very seriously, and hate spam as much as I do. They have a dedicated team of delivery engineers who are working around the clock to avoid spam, and educate their customers. I've already recommended the service to a couple of my friends and I'll use them when I'm ready to launch my new web site.

DirectIQ is a SaaS which provides permission based email marketing services and metrics, only if your company has double opt-in subscribers. I vouch for this website.

DirectIQ has tens of thousands of customers (including Fortune 500 companies) to send email campaigns to customers. The platform complies with international spam laws.

They ridded their system of all spammers, and they are really working on improving their site daily. Over the past year, they have written awesome email marketing content in their resources section with two informative blogs. One blog is about email marketing news, and another blog is called email marketing school. In their Email marketing school blog they have some educational articles, like one teaching their users how to comply with anti-spam laws: http://www.directiq.com/r/everything-you-need-to-know-about-anti-spam-laws

Spam site claiming to offer software to aid in favorable treatment by search engines. If it actually works, it will aid in the generation of yet more Spam, to the annoyance of us all.

directiq.com was found on February 29th, 2012 on the URIBL (URI based Blacklist service) for possible SPAM and/or Malware violations.

The domain directiq.com, registered through DIRECTNIC, LTD is listed on at least two SPAM blacklists as of today. This does not necessarily indicate that they are guilty of sending SPAM, merely that the server that their IP address is associated to was confirmed by at least 2 sources to be a gateway for SPAM. This leads us to recommend caution on this server as it is possible that if it is compromised for SPAM, other data could be compromised.

directiq.com - This domain or a related subdomain was detected as a confirmed phishing site in December 2011. It was listed at ***** where you can search for it for more details. Beware of links that look like a bank, but actually send you to a different site. Here are some other examples - ***** is actually the site ***** - nothing to do with Paypal ***** is actually ***** and nothing to do with Paypal direct-certs.bankofamerica.com.IDSTKOI.COM/direct/certupdate/ is actually IDSTKOI.COM and nothing to do with Bank of America ***** is actually ***** and nothing to do with Bank of America Phish sites may later be cleaned up and made safe again, but owners need to improve their security to prevent reinfection.
