The browser extension provided by this service steals user emails: *****

VPN, extension that can be found in the Google Chrome Store. However, if you want it to auto-start and do not want restrictions on speed there is a subscription fee.

DotVPN is a free, user-friendly VPN with very solid encryption and it also has exceeded all of the DNS leak tests I put it through. As a Chrome user, I have to say that DotVPN is better than Zenmate. In fact, DotVPN is the best free VPN I've ever used that doesn't require any software installation. ***** Update: Most of the servers have become really slow and the Spain server frequently and spontaneously shuts down, which is really annoying for its users. The Japanese server sends all traffic through a subdomain of members.linode.com, which is a site with a horrible WOT reputation, and the Russian server sends all traffic through a subdomain of ihc.ru, which contains many community-approved reviews complaining about malware and spam. The only somewhat good news I have is that DotVPN has restored its 256-bit 2048 RSA encryption for free users in the latest version, although it is sometimes very inconsistent. The Japanese server actually has decent download speeds, but only from time to time. The server is not p2p-friendly or even download-friendly in general due to draconian copyright laws (even more draconian than the ones in the US) that were recently passed in Japan. Overall, this service used to be incredible, but now I think you're better off spending a few dollars on a quality VPN, unless you're really that desperate for a free one.

It is a great VPN service. Their free VPN service is one of its own. Some company may want much money for this kind of service.
