Whenever you download anything ALWAYS decline offers, uncheck boxes and just make sure you are ONLY downloading what you want. I guarantee you either had or have now ASK Toolbar and ASK.COM as your homepage. It comes from Oracle's Java, which IS needed for various things on he web and everyone has it. That's just an example of packaged software you didn't want except the one you wanted, in this case Java. There are a lot that also ask you to download Google toolbar and make Google your home page. I do hope this helps as I post here I try to give the best advice I can. What you should have is 1 anti-virus and 2 anti-spyware, if you do have what you need run a scan with all, if you have SuperAntiSpyware it gives you the option to uninstall ASK, easy way to get rid of. The programs themselves are "Malware free," but all the extra programs it tries to install are not. I'd download direct or go to Cnet instead. Installer rife with junk and bloatware.

I took a chance because of a couple of OK ratings. Wish I hadn't taken that chance. I tried to download something and got "offered" everything but what I had specified. It is impossible to bypass their tricky wording as you go through the download process. It is a complete scam that uses tricks to get you to download various apps. I immediately deleted the download object and I'll never voluntarily go to this site again!
