I am a very satisfied customer of downloadbuyer.com. had a great experience with the owner himself, when a promotion just had expired the day before he contacted the software developer to know if it is possible to give me the discounted price and it was possible, so thumbs up 100%. would like to know which kind of people is downrating the wot reputation without any reason. keep up the good work john.

I am the owner of this site and as such I am very upset to see you have it listed with a 'warning' notice and that it has such low Trustworthiness, Reliability, Privacy and Child Safety ratings. I received a note from a customer highlighting the WOT rating and suggesting we contest it as it is obviously an unfair rating. I should add that we also sell on eBay and have a 100% rating - as you will know eBay customers can be very critical in their reviews so a 100% rating is quite an achievement. But more than this, we have a testimonials page that many companies would pay good money to own - which I can assure you we did not. Every testimonial is directly from the customer's mouth. Although I could understand anyone questioning a few of them as they are just too good to be true! (but they are). We have a very high commitment to delivering customer service levels far beyond what is actually expected of us. It comes from a business ethic whereby we treat every problem, every refund request and every request for help or support as a marketing investment – if we don’t invest then we won’t succeed. We are also committed to delivering quickly and with high levels of communication (not spam) to ensure customers know what is going on at all times. We’re not perfect and certainly don’t claim to be so, but we do our very best to keep our customers satisfied. With the amount of great feedback we get and the number of customers who come back to buy again and again, we know we’re doing something right and we’re very, very proud to be achieving this month in – month out. It is therefore very upsetting to see such a low rating on your site. At no time have I been contacted by your organisation to question to how accurate this rating is – or as far as I know to validate any one of these scores. For example what on earth gives us a Child Safety rating of 73??? – we have nothing offensive on our website, none of the software products on our site contain or promote anything offensive. We do not allow any offensive language in any post on the site and we do not include any offensive or defamatory language in any of our communications. To top it all off, one of our best selling products is Net Nanny, the world’s number 1 parental control software. To suggest we are untrustworthy and unreliable is quite frankly offensive and extremely inaccurate. I contacted WOT back in August to ensure our site was verified and at the same time I requested answers to the above. Now three months later I have heard nothing back from you and you are still presenting our site with a warning. I thought, obviously somewhat naively that WOT was a responsible authority with a very good moral stance – however I have to question this now as you continue to misrepresent my company. I would appreciate some communication in reply to this post. Best regards and many thanks Jon Silvera ***** Ltd
