It's a Microsoft partner besides its very helpful so i cant say its bad at all.

They're a MicroSoft Gold Level partner (don't believe me, confirm with MicroSoft). A person had trouble after using some third party uninstaller instead of the standard installer in Windows Control Panel, that sets up when you install Driver Cure, so it sounds like the problem may be with the third party uninstaller.

Rough software + fake microsoft silver partner seal!

I downloaded Driver Cure in order to open an attachment for an email, I found after I had downloaded it that I had to pay for it but there wasn't anything saying that prior to downloading it. I uninstalled it using a free Revo uninstaller, the next day when I started up the computer there was a pop up from the company telling me there was an error in installing it and to reapply. I "x"d it and went on with my work. I couldn't spend time figuring it out so it was on the computer for several months, finally I decided to delete the thing. I found it in the Start Up menu and deleted it, the next day the pop up was there again I tracked it down and found it was in my C:drive and when I rgt clkd it there was a box that had archive chkd and a thin white color over the box. It prevented me from unchecking the box. I eventually found that I could use the Cipher program in Command Prompt (on a Vista Home Premium laptop) to delete the folder, after that I couldn't access my program when I turned the computer on. After a MS analysis it said a thread or program had exited the computer, and I found I had to wipe my hard drive and start over. I had no warning that this was a virus, I had 3 different security systems and I use each one once a week, they were the Norton 2011, MSE, and the free version of Superantispyware. As I was going through the folder I ran both MSE and the Norton security scans and the folder passed, so it seems if I don't buy Driver Cure's program they screw my computer. So the lesson is if you have a folder that ends up on your C:drive and you can't delete it then you'll have to find a different way to delete it other than the way I did. Someone suggested using a Restore Point but I couldn't remember when I had installed it and all I wanted was a specific way to remove one file and not go through the whole deal of going through a Restore Point. I don't know that that would have been any better seeing as how it passed so many security scans.

This is definitely a GREAT software. What more to say, you install it, it scans your PC (few seconds), it find all the latest drivers for all missing or outdated drivers on your PC. It's that simple... Maybe people don't like the fact that to actually download all the found drivers you have to pay? I don't know, but there is certainly nothing bad or evil about this tool, its from Parent Logic a well know and respected software company. I have it installed on all of my families computers and it has saved me a ton of problems and time. Thanks

It scans the PC and finds all sort of "driver" updates including drivers that i have just updated before installing it. This speaks for itself.

I have used DriverCure on a number of times to keep my drivers up to date and my experience has been quite positive. There are several driver type products they all seem to do the same thing, which is to inform the user of outdated drivers and provide the capability to update them. I'm unsure why there are so many comments about phishing and scams.
