Is efficientsoftware.net Safe?

Although the free calender was very useful, I did not like that it installed blekko and avg search engines without my permission. On opening Chrome both search engines automatically opened in two tabs. It also changed my home page without my permission. I unchecked blekko and it installed anyway. There was no notice of avg secure search installation, which I had previously spend hours trying to find a way to get rid of in fire fox. Uninstalling the calender program did not get rid of blekko as the company suggested it would. After unistalling the program, I finally deleted blekko from 'manage search engines' in chrome and avg secure search disappeared also. It is for these reasons I gave it a red mark in all four categories.
